This page was created to improve communication between the Sophomore, Junior and Mentor groups. Throughout this semester we will ask for each group to post their progress and questions they may have for each assignment in hopes of delivering the highest quality of work we can.

Progress - Week of Feb 15th - 21st
Please post your progress of work or any questions for the week above.
Meetings Wednesday we met with the PM of our mentor group to discuss the project, expectations, and review questions we had. We discussed our meeting with Professor McCoy and reviewed the calendar for upcoming events. Our group also met Thursday to break up the project review what we had so far and talk to the professor about a few questions with the project. Members of our mentor group were available to field questions and encouraged us to stay on top of things.
Status of Old/Current Tasks: This week, the team worked on the takeoff of the Structural system in the basketball facility.
Upcoming Tasks: Next week we will meet with professor McCoy and our mentor groups to review our work so far. We plan to have a majority of the work done by this meeting Tuesday and hope to be able to use the weekend to tie up loose ends.
Issues/ Group Problems The team is currently working well together. No problems have been encountered as of yet.
Site Visit Observations: No site visits were taken this week.
Meetings Team J2 met today in Bishop Favrao Hall at 11 o’clock. The team discussed a game plan for completing assignment 2. All team members were present. Status of Old/Current Tasks: We successfully split up the tasks for assignment 2. Mike Avallon and Chris Edwards are going to begin to takeoff the duct work, and Drew McPheeters and Erik Santmyer are going to takeoff the piping. Brent Brown is going to keep track of peculiar items and their affect on the quantity takeoff. Additionally, Drew McPheeters and Chris Gray will prepare a preliminary schedule based on the quantity takeoff. We plan on meeting next Tuesday with progress reports. Issues/ Group Problems Team J2 needs to make sure that the communication between each member is sufficient. We need to contact each other with progress reports as tasks are completed. We also need to coordinate with each other so that if anyone has any trouble completing their tasks, other team members can assist them in completing their task.
